ETH@10 Jos Celebration
Reflecting on a Decade of Ethereum in Nigeria
On July 30th, 2025, Blockfuse Labs hosted the ETH@10 Jos Celebration to mark 10 years since the launch of the Ethereum mainnet. Held in Jos, Nigeria, and supported by the Ethereum Foundation’s Ecosystem Support Program, the event brought together over 80 attendees including developers, students, creatives, and newcomers to the Ethereum ecosystem.
The day featured lightning talks from key local voices in Web3, covering topics like real-world use cases, infrastructure for financial freedom, empathy in product design, and community building. Speakers included founders and leaders from CoreStream, ClockPay, Bluehouse Tech, Axia Hub, and Blockfuse Labs.
Attendees also engaged in onchain games, explored a local NFT art gallery, and joined a livestream of the global ETH@10 celebration. The event created opportunities for learning, collaboration, and reflection on how far the Ethereum movement has come, especially at the grassroots level.
