About the gathering
Blockfuse Labs hosted Africa’s first-ever Uniswap v4 Community Meetup in Jos, Nigeria—a landmark event that brought together Web3 enthusiasts, DeFi learners, and blockchain advocates.
The event featured powerful sessions from speakers like Mr. Longs, who emphasized Uniswap’s critical role in decentralized finance, and Kefas Kingsley, who simplified DeFi with relatable insights. Jethro Lopwus traced the evolution from Uniswap v1 to v4, highlighting its new capabilities, while Emmanuel Doji wrapped up with a call to action for continued growth and community building.
The meetup combined education, games, networking, and a celebratory group photo—marking the beginning of a vibrant Web3 movement in the region.
This is just the start. More meetups, more learning, and more building to come—right here in Jos.
